Is the app free?

Yes. Lawn Obsessed USA is free to download and use. Some product links earn us a small commission when you buy — see how we make money.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up and no login. Your lawn profile, journal and photos stay on your device.

The advice looks wrong for my area.

Check the ZIP code in My Lawn — it sets your climate zone, local forecast and soil temperature. If you're offline, the app falls back to a general seasonal calendar. Still off? Email us a screenshot.

Which grasses are supported?

Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, perennial ryegrass, fine fescue, cool-season mixes, bermuda, zoysia, St. Augustine, centipede and bahia.

Is the product advice safe to follow?

The app is built on well-established turf science from US university extension services, but the product label is always the authority for rates, timing and safety. The label is the law — follow it, and check the product is registered in your state.
